Dr. Hari Singh Gour University (Hindi: डॉ. हरिसिंह गौर विश्वविद्यालय, also known as University of Saugar (Hindi: सागर विश्वविद्यालय, UOS) is a Central University in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, India. It was founded (and is currently named after) Sir Hari Singh Gour on 18 July 1946, during the British Raj and is the oldest university in the state.[1]

Campus

The main campus of the university is in Sagar City, and the university also has several affiliated colleges and a distance education wing. A medical college is being built in to train students in the field of medical science.
